I was wondering what Bob Wolff was doing of late. Found his blog and started this one.
I am finally reading Robert Howell in a way that resonates with me. His is a very interesting take on Kant. I still don't really get how this use of modal logic can be made to square with Kant's strong anti-metaphysical intent.
I actually came to Howell through Hintikka's paper on modal logical and perception. Howell is an obvious step from Hintikka, once Howell pointed it out, that is. It might make sense of Kantian intuitions and concepts in a way that suggests how to explain the idea of a conceptual scheme in a way that answers Davidson's objection that intuitions are ineffable.
I can't imagine myself writing like this everyday.
